About Us
A Builder From the Start
At 17, Russell Goode was already swinging a hammer and framing houses. He was learning the trades from the ground up while quietly nurturing a dream of running his own business. In 2016, that dream became reality when he launched The Good Handyman. Starting small and working hard, it wasn't long before he landed his first custom home build and knocked it out of the park. Word spread fast, and what began as modest handyman work grew into a reputation for quality framing that builders across Central Indiana could count on.
Bridging the Gap
By 2021, Russell started noticing the same problem on every job site: dirt work was holding everything up. Builders were juggling equipment logistics just to keep their timelines from falling apart. Russell saw the gap, stepped in, and quickly became the guy builders called when they needed to keep the project moving. That momentum led naturally to the founding of RAM Outdoor Services in 2022, another leap forward for a guy who has always had a gift for seeing what needs to be done and doing it.

RAM quickly earned the trust of some of the most recognizable names in the Greater Indianapolis region, including prestigious healthcare providers such as IU Health, large corporations like FedEx, local real estate developers, and homeowners who simply want the job done right. Today, RAM continues to serve these clients while expanding into larger development projects, including office buildings and condos. Russell continues to lead his team with the same reliable, boots-on-the-ground work ethic that built this company from day one.

What started as excavation and dirt work has grown into something more.
